Picchi company is currently a leading company in designing and producing metal carts and containers, offering a wide range of items specially created for poultry sector; our products are suitable for processing plants, live animal transport companies, hatching farms, egg and poultry trades, offering both standard items and specially customized products.
Our main goal has always been our customer’s satisfaction and our main skill is customization; we can build standard items thanks to our robotized machineries, but we are mainly specialized in creating tailored products for each customer, helping them to improve their business. Picchi Poultry line items have been studied and designed to improve live bird transport on truck, internal goods handling and moving within storage rooms and goods displaying within supermarkets.

For more than 30 years our company has been manufacturing trolleys and containers for live animal handling and transport on truck.
We create new solutions for “Broiler, live chicken, turkey and hen Transport on truck” up to the processing plant.
Our metal cages are appropriate for companies using automatic “GP live bird supply system” suitable for automatic bird unloading, and farms adopting manual bird unloading system; our cages equipped with side opening option permits an easier and practical live bird managing.
We construct standard chicken transport cages, both single and double, adjustable to 4 and 5 tiers, but we manufacture smaller containers as well which can be customized according to special dimensions, in compliance with plastic cage sizes.
Our live chicken transport cages are both labour and MONEY SAVING; thanks to their practical opening and closing shelf system, our containers make loading/unloading bird operation easier; moreover, all maintenance costs are highly reduced due to metal spare parts which are robust and resistant. With our containers, bird mortality during transport is greatly reduced thanks to a good ventilation between levels, holed fiberglass shelves and due to an adequate bird distancing in compliance with animal welfare regulations.

Within our wide range of products suitable for live animal transport on truck, we offer a line of items properly designed for pullet and laying hen transportation, ideal for long trips within breeding farms, thanks to aeration between levels.
We also produce containers for hen transport from the farm to the processing plant.
